Daisy Bell Woodcraft Refinishing Services

     After time, your once shiny and smooth board may be dull and scratched or cut. Even though regular cleaning and conditioning is recommended, it can't always be addressed. It happens with daily use.

     We're here to help. We will bring your old looking board back to life with a fresh cleaning, sanding, reoiling and coat of wax. 

     Your board will be cleaned and sanded down to a raw state, eliminating rough areas and as many cuts/scratches as possible.

     Then we will soak your board in a fresh bath of food safe mineral oils and waxes.

     Once your fresh board has soaked in all the oil it can, a new application of protective wax will be applied to preserve and protect from oils and bacteria.

     After all steps are complete and your board is cured, we will ship it back to you ready for more daily use or your special events.

*Depending on the severity of the damage(s), we should be able to get your board looking as close to new as it once was. Deep cuts and scratches will only be able to be removed or fixed to a certain degree without compromising the stability of the original piece(s).

**Excessive wear and boards larger than 24" may have an upcharge for time and materials needed to revive your item(s). If this is the case, you will be contacted by email prior to any work being completed.

***We will only refurbish boards created by Daisy Bell Woodcraft. Any items NOT CREATED by DBW will be declined and returned back to sender at the customers expense. 

All boards/items that may or are intended to come in contact with food will be finished with food grade oils and or epoxy for protection and longevity. Even though epoxy is "food safe" when cured, we DO NOT recommend cutting into epoxy of any kind.

All boards that come in contact with food will require cleaning and conditioning to preserve the wood and lengthen the useful life.
